In case you didn’t know, 5 is the new 4. Or at least it is when it comes to Omaha on CoinPoker! Starting today, you’ll be able to enjoy a range of 5 Card Omaha cash games, something we’ve been asked to launch since releasing PLO.

This exciting variation gives players one more hole card to choose from on top of the traditional four in PLO. In case you are not entirely familiar with Pot-Limit Omaha rules you can check out this guide for more details. If you’re already a fan of the game, then this variation is pretty straightforward.

Here are the basics:

  1. Each player is dealt 5 hole cards
  2. Players combine 2 of their hole cards with 3 out of 5 community cards (3 on the flop, 1 on the turn, and 1 on the river) to make a 5-card hand
  3. The best hand wins, following the same hierarchy as standard PLO or Texas Hold’Em

How to Play 5-Card Omaha on CoinPoker

Head over to the lobby and make sure you have cash games selected. Once you’re there you will be able to find a range of 5-Card Omaha games with limits to suit just about any bankroll.

While there are only cash games available for 5-Card Omaha to start, we hope to release the game for MTT fans depending on community feedback. Let us know your thoughts in the comments and good luck at the tables!
