Don’t miss: The Super Bowl!
It’s that time of the year again. The Super Bowl is one of the main events of the year for sports fans and in the US – it’s more than that: it’s a tradition. Whether you love the NFL or not, reuniting friends to watch the big game is part of the American identity.
This year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, it will be slightly different though. Both for fans at home, who should avoid mass gatherings, and for the ones attending the game in Tampa, Florida.
The Raymond James Stadium with a capacity of 65,000 people, will only be able to host 22,000 lucky supporters, due to public health concerns.
Despite that, the game itself will be one for the books. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be the first team to play a Super Bowl at their home stadium. The match will also be special for quarterback Tom Brady, who will play his 10th Super Bowl, an individual record for the same player.
The Buccaneers will face last year’s Super Bowl winners, Kansas City Chiefs, who return to revalidate their title.
